Loving the Silent Tears
Starring in the Broadway-style musical ‘Loving the Silent Tears’ opposite Liz Callaway, Jody Watley, Debbie Gravitte and Jon Secada at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.
This is the last song of the musical Loving the Silent Tears. I am wearing a yellow dress, between Jody Watley and Debbie Gravitte. I’ve been told yellow makes me look anemic and yellow makes me pop. I don’t know what to make of it…
Here are some of the lovely performers I had the pleasure to share the stage with: Patti Cohenour (Joy), Luke Eberl (Pete), Junior Case (Conductor), Black Uhuru (Jamaica), Brian Joo & Heather Park (Korea), Fabiana Passioni (Brasil), Debbie Gravitte (USA – or rather New York), Liz Callaway (Australia), Kay Tse (China), Kiril Kulish (Russia), Jon Secada (Cuba), Mark Janicello (Italy), Katie McMahon (Ireland), Camellia Abou-Odah/Liel Kolet/Siavash Shams (Middle East), Jody Watley (Africa), Hó Quynh Huong aka Hope (Vietnam). We were accompanied by three troops of beautiful dancers and a live orchestra.
The show was directed by Vincent Paterson, choreographed by Bonnie Story, conducted and arranged by Doug Katsaros. The three of them are geniuses.
Some behind-the-scene footage from the musical Loving the Silent Tears. It is really an honor to be part of this beautiful team.
